Reflection: Herod is the perfect anti-example of insincerity. He saw greatness in John the Baptist but he let his fear of what others would say or think dictate how he acted. Herod was a slave to popular opinion. He was a coward. Use your will to reject this type of
Petition: Lord, I want to be a person of strength and courage.
