SAVE THE DATE - DIRECTOR OF SPORTS MINISTRY CONFERENCE MARCH 30-APRIL 1, 2016 AT THOMAS MORE COLLEGE NEAR CINCINNATI OH

The SportsLeader Rosary Rally event continues to grow.

After having over 20 before the fall season with over 7,000 participants, primarily football teams, we had our first ever with boys basketball teams this week in Northern KY near Cincinnati.

Our Catholic schools have an incredible sports infrastructure already in place. We need to intentionally and creatively integrate a true ministry there. SportsLeader can help.

We had 6 high schools and 1 middle school.

Bishop Brossart, Alexandria KY

Covington Catholic, Park Hills KY

Newport Central Catholic, Newport KY

Royalmont Academy, Mason OH

St Agnes, Ft Wright KY

St Henry, Erlanger KY

Trinity, Louisville KY

There were 20 coaches and 118 players plus about 30 parents and family members for an approximate total of 148.

▪ A special shout-out to Head Coach Scott Ruthsatz and Covington Catholic (2014 State Champions) for being the first team to say yes enabling the event to happen.
▪ Another shout-out to Head Coach Mike Szabo and Louisville Trinity (2012 State Champions) for making the 92 mile (one-way) trek to participate.

The event was timely in that one of the boys suffered the loss of his grandfather a few days prior. Praying with your teammates can be a real source of consolation and encouragement.
